After recognising a passion for beauty and skincare, Karen spent several years gaining her Level 2,3, HNC & HND Beauty Therapy qualifications. Karen went on to further study and gained a BA Applied Enterprise with Distinction before establishing her career within the beauty industry.


After setting her sights high, she began working as a Skin Care Specialist with the number one skincare brand on the Market which enabled her to receive extensive training in London to develop on her massage & facial knowledge and skills. 


Karen then began furthering her already extensive education and successfully obtained a BA Business Honours while continuing her Beauty career as an Advanced Therapist at a prestigious 5* Health Spa. Her strong work ethic and dedication quickly catapulted her to great success, training with many highly-publicised and well-known beauty brands in a range of face & body treatments.

 In 2020, Karen then successfully  completed her VTCT Educational training to become an accredited Trainer and LBTA was launched! 
It is a combination of over 15 years beauty experience and business knowledge which allows her to deliver all courses to an exceptional standard, and delivering the skills and knowledge required to become a success in the industry.

Gemma started her nail career in a busy city centre nail salon & training school, where she received the best training from experienced techs. 

After a year, she went on to run the training school, training students to the company standard which she did for a further year, before going on to win ‘Scottish Gel Nail Technician of the Year’ at the Scottish Beauty show. 

Upon leaving the salon, she set up her own business spanning 19 years where she has built up an extremely loyal client base; some of whom still come to this day. During this time, she really developed her passion for nails – priding herself on perfecting her technique and keeping up with nail art trends. 

Wanting to further her career, in 2020 Gemma completed a CIBTAC Award in Education level 3 qualification and currently loves sharing her passion and extensive knowledge in nails with others who are keen to persue a career in this thriving industry alongside her busy nail business. 

Lyndsay has a passion for all things beauty related and loves what she does. She has gained over 17 years experience working within 5 star salon and spa environments. 

Lyndsay has worked with some well known brands receiving extensive training, which over the years, helped build on her skills and knowledge. 

Having worked in various roles within the industry from therapist to treatment trainer and management, Lyndsay has gained the skills and knowledge required to be successful within the industry. Lyndsay has a passion for learning and loves keeping her skills up to date, to help stay on top of new treatment launches and trends.

In 2022 Lyndsay successfully completed her City & Guilds Level 3 award in Education and Training to become an accredited trainer. With an abundance of experience and knowledge, Lyndsay is equipped with the skills required to deliver exceptional training. 

Her passion, experience and skills gained over the last 17 years has lead her to this point. She loves to teach and finds it very rewarding helping people learn new skills and achieve their own personal goals.

With over 9 years of experience in the beauty industry, Sarah Hamilton is a skilled and passionate makeup artist specializing in bridal makeup. After completing a 3-year study in makeup artistry, earning both an HNC and HND in Makeup Artistry for TV, Film, and Theatre, Sarah embarked on a successful freelance career.

Her journey has taken her from film sets abroad to fashion catwalks and photoshoots. Now, Sarah channels her expertise into creating timeless looks for brides on their special day.

 In addition to her makeup artistry, Sarah is fully qualified in lash lifts and offers one-to-one makeup lessons, whether it’s helping clients learn how to enhance their own features or teaching them how to apply makeup on others. She has also held several masterclasses, where she showcases her skills and shares valuable tips with her clients.

It was from her experience hosting masterclasses that she discovered her passion for teaching. Sarah now offers skill building courses, for those who area already qualified, alongside courses for complete beginners!
